JOB DESCRIPTION
We are now looking for a rehabilitation assistant with a shared assignment between the Rehabilitation Unit and New Safe Homecoming during the summer of 2025. The position is a full-time summer temporary job. Placement will be within the Rehabilitation Unit and New Safe Homecoming. The Rehabilitation Unit consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants.
New Safe Homecoming is a service that supports individuals in ordinary housing after hospital stays for a rehabilitation period. New Safe Homecoming also includes a short-term care unit.
As a rehabilitation assistant, you will have a preventive approach and work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You will work based on instructions or delegated tasks from a licensed occupational therapist or licensed physiotherapist and be part of the daily work within New Safe Homecoming.
Your tasks will also include interventions such as executing training programs, participating in assessments, and assistive device trials. Documentation in the operational system is part of the job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are primarily looking for someone studying to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist who has completed semester 4 or 5 by summer or has a nursing assistant education or rehabilitation assistant training.
We want you to have experience working with rehabilitation/habilitation and be familiar with handling medical technical products. You are flexible and enjoy working independently.
Knowledge of the MyLoc ordering system for assistive devices and the Treserva documentation system is an advantage.
As a person, you are engaged, attentive, communicative, and have a good approach, and you can work both independently and in a team. You have a rehabilitative perspective and an interest in working within municipal health and medical care.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A B driver's license is required for the position.
